This old skool security device is a lot cheaper and probably just as effective!  :)

Never seen one like that but for the money I am ordering a couple
That's exactly the reason that they would be shite.

Yes they're more of a visual deterrent that add a bit more hassle, and so the thief moves on to easier pickings.

If a wrongun is determined to nick your car and has the skills, it's gone whatever you do.  ::)

This is just a 2025 version of the Krooklok from the sixties and seventies.....

Exactly.  :y

I'd still wager that most car thieves would move on when they see one on the steering wheel though.  ;)

You could have a quick game of rounders when stuck in gridlock with this one!   ;D

It could come in handy in other situations as well...  :-X
Yeah,  beating the brains out of the scrote who's trying to nick it.  :D

Fire away on Trackers, I have been very involved with them for many years now (both the built in ones, which are always a compromise, and the likes of Tracker, CanTrack etc etc)

They don't, most of the thefts are targeted, they go out knowing what vehicle they are taking and these basic locks are zero deterrent.

Lets face it, they have invested enough to get around all the security features and immobilisers so a lever or cordless grinder is no bother to add (and this is exactly what they do having seen cars in the chop shops)
