Bread on a long fork that becomes toast. Fond memories. :y

A bit of cheap white sliced bread on a long fork that becomes charcoal. Fond memories. :y

A review of the IM5 popped up in my newsfeed today so I had a quick scoot through it. Gets a fairly decent review but like a lot of later vehicles, good old ADAS slammed on the brakes to avoid a suspected collision when the reviewer was test driving it. Just like my BMW phantom braked for shadows, as does my daughter’s BMW and as does Opti’s BMW. This system can be bloody dangerous. On the plus side, the IM5 allows you to turn off ALL nanny functions in one tap of the screen icon, so that’s a nice touch (no pun intended).

I had it cut all power to the 240i when enjoying a twisty part of Wales.

The whole system freaked out with flashing lights and heavy braking. Tried to turn the system off but not possible and the best a driver can do is turn down the 'assistance' to the lowest setting. Sigh. :-\

I hear that modern chinky cars are even worse for interfering and 'doing what is best for the driver' :-X......probably a communist thing.

Not a bad car the IM5, and with it depreciating so fast I reckon one with a couple of thousand miles and less than a year old could make financial sense.

750 BHP for not much money sounds good to me. >:D
