Quite right too. Regardless of the particulars of this case, and granted that the video we saw had clearly been hacked about a bit, what was clear from what we did see is that this pair had near non-existent communication skills, and I'm pretty sure that, apart from anything else, means they're no use whatsoever in a uniform. Still, I'm sure they tick a few useful boxes. 
West Midlands Police only came out of being in Special Measures in the latter half of last year so have clearly learnt very little since. They were in Special Measures due to officers telling lies when filing reports and using unnecessary use of force during questioning and arrests. On one occasion, three coppers stopped a driver, handcuffed him for no reason, told him his car was flagged and his car smelled of cannabis. They found nothing in his car but when they searched him they found his .....warrant card.

He was an off duty copper and reported them to IOPC. I doubt much happened as far as discipline/dismissal but it gives you an idea of why nobody trusts the police anymore.
