Steering wheel swap
« on: Yesterday at 08:51:46 »

Hello everyone, I want to replace the steering wheel of my pre-facelift Omega B with a steering wheel from an Omega A. Does anyone know if that’s possible?

No personal experience of this but even if the spline pattern is the same, wouldn’t you end up with an airbag light on all of the time, as the Omega A (Carlton) steering wheel was non-airbag wasn’t it?  You’d also lose the track/volume controls from the Omega B steering wheel wouldn’t you?
Others on here with personal experience of the Omega A will be better placed to answer this.

My fun car is a 2020 Bmw F32 430d M Sport with indicators.
My cruiser is an Audi A6 Avant S Line Black Edition with indicators.

iirc the preface lift cars didn't have controls on the steering wheel, but I think you're right re the airbag
