Shorter as the day goes on
« on: 26 September 2008, 20:23:53 »

Mr Dusty has always complained (being a tall man 6ft 1in) that his head/hair brushes the roof lining of the Omega first thing in the morning.

He finds this extremely irritating :D ;D  later during the day he hardly mentions it at all. :-?

But, it is a well known fact that people are taller in the morning than the evening.  When the Guiness Book of Records measures for the worlds tallest or shortest they do it across the day to get a mean height.

I wonder if any one else has come across this phenomena. When one of the members (I think it was Skruntie) was doing the BMI I seem to remember that Tunnie was 6ft 4in -  presumably the tallest member of the forum, and one who may also notice his head grazing the lining on occasions. Unless you know of anyone taller?

Hope I've got my facts right Tunnie?

According to my records, Big Al the tallest at is 6' 7".

I am 6' 1" and my seat is set to the lowest setting. I have loads of headroom. (Including the sunroof gubbins).

Big Al:

The data I have was collected from an earlier post about height and BMI. I used it to work out the height and weight of an average "OOFer" (not that there is any such thing).

All the data I have is here for your info.
