No probs with cracking jokes but, unless you already know the punchline, some do not work.  To me, not knowing that your hound shares your bed, it didn't work for me, hence I modded your post.

Not tippy toeing around things - I am also not exactly PC - but some things do not sit to well on open forum.

My 'crock of sh!t' comment was on the whole scenario in general.

The 'alcohol in Saudi' comment is based on experience.  The official line and reality line are certainly not close partners and double standards apply there, as they do worldwide on a whole range of subjects.  What is acceptable in one country is taboo in another and in both, there are those who want the best of both countries and smudge the boundaries.

As to who the chap does or does not share his bed with, your comment is assumption and serves, in this thread, as a red herring introduced by yourself with no bearing on the actual facts of the original post, if you follow....

Imo these cases are usually put up jobs,there is an agenda behind them.The worrying thing is that they often work ,which motivates those with the agenda to keep going.
i find it interesting that one of the few places were you still see lots of top shelf porn for sale is in asian shops,dont know the exact muslim rules on porn, but it doesnt sit very well with the puritanical image of muslimism which is generally held.
A bit difficult to reconcile hard core porn on top shelf and woman must be covered from head to toe in public places. :-/

and for the arabia.. too many things are forbidden ..and if they catch you punishment is serious..but whatever is happening everywhere on world, the same applies but with hidden conditions..

in whole of my country alcohol is sold and carried..And too many drink this including some people who is really serious on their belief..(although its forbidden in the holy book)
