I wonder if he objected to moving pallets of brandy butter or Christmas cake?

There are an awful lot of foods with alcohol in especially around Christmas.

I thought that (the muslims who adhered to the Koran's rule) you cant consume alcohol, carrying it is ok.......?

And from my experience of living in Saudi a lot of them are p!ssheads!

i'm not a vindictive person by nature, but u really hope the judge sees sense and thrown the bloody case out

I'm going to quit at this point as me saying anymore could cause issues  ::)

This type of situation really grips my sh!t....

The chap is a Saudi National.

He has strong religious beliefs.

He knowingly applied for a job in a workplace where alcohol is routinely moved.

Then he throws in the race/religion card and, to compound the PC (Protocol Cockedup) situation we now live in, seems that he did not work out for himself that alcohol was there, complaining that he was not told of this???

If this UK world is so bad for his beliefs, then head back to Saudi.....

Crock of sh!t.....   >:(

edit to add - yep, spent a fair amount of time in Saudi in times past.  They enjoy their booze as much as others, they just keep it under (open) wraps....  Its a two faced world out there, right enough......

Total and utter sh**e ..... this country has been ruined by rubbish like this ....... i hope the judge laughs at it and throws it out costing the complainer lots of money ..... where is all this crap going to end ...... :( :( :( :(.......

I'd be guessing that he is basing his complaint on being discriminated against because he wouldn't move alcohol not the actual moving of the same.
Other employees of various faiths will be asked to do the same so he has no case there.
How he was treated because he declined to move booze is the issue.
It is the same as asking for example a Jew to handle pork products, the guys beliefs are what they are and nobody should be making him go against them.
Whether it was wise for him to get a job in a role that causes this conflict is a totally different matter.
Basically reporting on a case of bullying going through a tribunal doesn't sell newspapers, putting a loony racist spin on it does.

i used to work with a muslim bloke, he gave it all the religious thing & having extra days holiday for this & that, anyhow i needed something from his desk, opened up the bottom drawer & what did i find???,,,,,,,,a huge pile of porno books!, as for this bloke who`s suing tescos didnt he know they sell booze, they use the religious thing when it suits them, after all i bet he sleeps with his wife,,,,,& she is probably a *** ;D
