Mrs Bitz has just told me that the senate has voted against the big bail out again. :o :o :o :o :o
The phrase "cutting your nose off to spite your face"springs to mind.

Now this presents a unique marketing oportunity. Everone is going to be worried about leaving their savings in the Banks, so start selling personal home safes. Far better than putting your savings under the bed.

If this wasn't so sad it would be laughable. Everyone is talking about electric cars being the future, and this country sells off the major electric producer, with the governments backing. Buy shares in France PLC. And as far as banking is concerned, most of the loans etc seem to be held by Santandar, so a few shares in Spain PLC might not go amiss. These countries are looking to the future, GB Gov is looking so far into the past they will be bringing back steam engines next.

I hear it endlessly on the wireless & as with war, politics etc it bores me. i don't care, none of it effects me to any noticeable extent & never has. I do a small job for a small wage & have a small mortgage on a small house. This outlook has worked for me all my life, i've nothing to worry about regardless of what the big shots achieve then lose again. Let them get on with it. I'm content. Life's too short.
