I don't believe the disappearance of Steve Fossett has anything to do with conspiracies, but everything to do with an adventurous man of aviation. 8-) 8-)
Flying can be dangerous anyway, but every so often aviators just disappear due to a multitude of circumstances and bad luck. It happened to Amelia Earhart in July 1937, Amy Johnson in 1941, Glenn Miller, the band leader, and his pilot in December 1944, a whole flight of five TBM Avengers, the infamous "Flight 19", in December 1945, and more recently in July 1999 John Kennedy with his wife, until their bodies and the wreckage of their plane were found.

A multitude of craft have disappeared since and before these particular noteworthy cases.
When you are flying alone, in a small aircraft, and even in a flight of five, you can easily disappear in what is actually a huge expanse of the World's surface.

They have found the wreckage of Steve's plane, but the animals have no doubt taken his body!
