Just in case you see this Fin ..... I have inherited a certain Elite with the reg letters GNU  ::)

Apart from my wanting to change the gas system fron single to sequential, on a new engine (and gearbox) she is still alive!

Taken almost a 12-month, but she is finally no longer a shed!!!!! :y

Yep that's the one !!!! I think you might have got thru a couple of lumps and a gearbox -- Lord knows which engine she is up to now!

I think (most of) the shell is original -- that's about it !!!!

GNU! Aha, dark grey metalic facelift IIRC? Didn't I change the engine on that one already? Sodding gearbox whinied as soon as it was changed toio IIRC! Didn't Tunnie buy that off me? Is that the same one?

Then again, after 19 of them one of them was bound to reapear on here at leats. Hope the old girl is better now. It was a bit tired IIRC.

Yes... found it in my pile....

That is a NICE motor!...and well chuffed to see you about Mr McB  :y

Perhaps we could talk about a silver 2.5 with a surging autobox that never got better.
Ended up being sold to the steward at the local golf club where it stood for ages before mysteriously being stolen the other week ::)

Still I don't care - wasn't my motor ever. 8-)
