I can hardly believe my eyes.  :o :o :o

Tesco are just becoming more ridiculous by the day.

If they stock the product then the staff behind the counter should sell it, or leave.

The woman in question must have been mortified.

I try not to make many purchases these days from Tesco, I do not like their interfering nanny ways. >:(

Just on a brighter note,

Most of the people in my office are against gambling, and could be quite happy to see it outlawed in the UK*, but we still work in the trade as it's the punters choice to "place there bet"

* not the rest of the world though, I still need a job :)

A few months ago a dip stick at tesco in Lee Mill cornwall tried to wheel clamp me due to my drivers side wheels being just over the bay white line, i could not park any better as the car next to me was too far over also.........after a few choice words from me he decided not to persue the idea.............rather little Hitler he was too..

In spite of my reply above -- and slightly off topic. I personally believe that the EHC shouldn't be available from the pharmacist anyway. At the very least the recipient should be seen by her GP.

Part of the erosion of society today is caused by the removal of consequences.

Just what is it with Tesco, why do they not act like any other retailer.

That is they act within the law and nothing else.

Why do Tesco feel they need to play at being our moral guardians (GOD).

Tesco seem to surface a lot on this forum with regards to acting above and beyond what any retailer should.

I find this extremely worrying.........It is as though Tesco are a Law unto themselves. >:( >:( >:( :y

On the point of being against a person's religion, is it not the case that some religions don't touch/ consume alcohol ?. That doesn't stop certain people from running off licenses, in fact I recon that's where a large amount of their dosh is earned.

This country needs good dose of COMMON SENSE. Take the clamping/very high release fees in private car parks, the bunch in westminster put in some rules about it, but it was badly thought out and badly implemented, so it still goes on. Whereas in Scotland, a Judge outlawed this practise way back in '94, so it doesn't happen up there. We are drowning lawmakers (police included ) in stupid time wasting rules, instead of getting the job done. See the recent thread about Pi*eys parking in Leicester. They have been doing that for years, but because the council follow the "politically Correct" line, nothing is done, and the taxpayer has to meet the tab for cleaning up the sh*t that they leave behind. Trouble is Leicester people don't see the effect of this cleaning up, if the local paper said it cost £XXXX to move them, then feelings would change.

Why on earth do Tesco's employ these religious idiots to sell their products when it's against that person's so called religion to sell them to customers in the first place. It's as loony as employing someone as a car salesman whose religion prevents them from selling cars!!

Both Tesco and Marks & Spencer were started by Jews
Ironically both will sell you a Pork Chop or Sausage! :-?
