Omega parts on ebay
« on: 06 October 2008, 23:05:37 »

Anybody noticed how many Omegas there are being broken for spares on ebay at the moment.

There must be about a dozen facelifts and loads of earlier cars.

Seems as if there is suddenly an oversupply , maybe due to values dropping so they get written off more readily.

Also salvage dealers are probably finding they can't sell them for repair so they are breaking them instead.

I broke a facelift on there myself a few months ago and it was about the only one so most of it sold. Don't think that would be the case now.

I know a lot of ebayers are a bit dodgy but there should be some mega bargains on there if you're prepared to barter a bit.

The little grill under the nearside foglight on a standard facelift front bumper or failing that a complete MV6 bumper (but at a reasonable price as i'd probably need to get it resprayed).
