Halfords trade card mishap
« on: 10 October 2008, 16:14:38 »

Just a question does anyone know how to get a replacement card I seem to have washed mine in my overall pocket at work . I actualy thought  I had lost it but it turned up today in the clean washing in one piece still but it is all bent out of shape .
The local shop are not being very helpful about it and are saying  I  need to reapply for a new card , and as I am not actually in the trade I cant do that .
The card Ihave was from when  I joined the other site before  I found OOF so other than rejoining that and possibly being issued another card I do not know how best to get a replacement any suggestions anyone .

Try another branch.

Or is there a phone number on the card?

But is it not better Jimbob to have a full Vx TC, rather than use Halfords for pattern parts?
 :-/ :-/ :-/ :D ;)

That's why I suggested this one. ;)

yup, and only 1 3rd party at that  :'(

I'm very much hoping they do not cancel cards, as my old vxon membership runs out in a week or 2.

FYI joined 2 years ago for a halfords card and the promise of a vauxhall card, which now, 2 years later, is still no nearer arriving!

bloody amateurs!

look on there every few weeks, out of interest, anyone queryieing their long promised card just gets shot down in flames!

Your right JB its good to have both I only use vx parts now I do not even have to say anything at the dealer I go to he knows me now and someone else has an account there so they use that name I pay cash to them and I think it counts for something to the other member everytime the account is used .
Halfords is useful for tools and lamps oh and wiper blades I lent my card to someone at work to get wiper blades and he paid less than half price for them using the card .
Hence the reason my card was in my overal pocket  >:(

Nah, if it goes I now have enough 'trade' invoices in my own name to blag one.

Is it just service parts we get discount on from Halford's or does it cover Car Steros and Tomtom gizmo's etc?
