LFF64 - I found that your local branch were quite good for giving out cards, thats where I blagged mine from.

I know they are clamping down - the guy who borrowed mine at lunchtime said the assistant said they were asking for sigs again.

just tell them you dont have to re-apply, you already have an existing account and just need a replacement card, and tell them the bank didnt make you re-apply for a new bank account when you lost your bank card!!

As did mine today, not asked for a sig for ages .

And its quite surprising what you do get discount on.....not just tools and servicing stuff.

I bought Holts exhaust bandage (not for my omega this time  ;D)
£3.90 ish i think reduced to £1.40
A 6v flourescent lamp £5 reduced to £4
And something that prevents water leaks £5 reduced to £1.10

yup, and only 1 3rd party at that  :'(

I'm very much hoping they do not cancel cards, as my old vxon membership runs out in a week or 2.

FYI joined 2 years ago for a halfords card and the promise of a vauxhall card, which now, 2 years later, is still no nearer arriving!

bloody amateurs!

look on there every few weeks, out of interest, anyone queryieing their long promised card just gets shot down in flames!

If it does ask em for a halfrauds card in your own right, flash your TC card and bingo, as the chap said when I did it "If its good enough for Vauxhall it's good enough for us."

I went around loads of Halfords trying that, until LFF64's local branch said yes.

i think as far as halfords card replacement goes you just go into a store and tell them you have a halfords trade account but have lost your card and they should just give you another. theres no reason for them to get arsey aslong as you dont go in asking for one on a regular basis... and iv not signed my halfords trade card and have never been asked to sign it- my mate who works there took the piss and said they dont accept em unsigned.
if in doubt.. complain ;)
