I thoroughly recommend this LPG seller
« on: 12 November 2007, 18:14:59 »

The Guy that most of us are buying the LPG kits from, Jeremy. (U-Fit-LPG) on ebay.

I phoned him this morning to discuss the kit I had purchased , had a really long chat.

He's agreed to send me the "polyflex" hose, instead of copper, which will make the engine bay run a million times easier he said. It's just like hose pipe, so can route it in all sorts of places you could never consider getting copper.

We also discussed the aspect of needing to cut wires in the injectors area - he assures me I should not have to, as the LPG loom will just use piggy back connectors to get the pulse from the petrol injectors.

He spend loads of time talking to me about all aspects of the conversion, including advice on the tank I didn't even buy from him, nozzle sizes, and has offered to help with certification when I'm done if I require it (although I'll probs go to bernard - cheaper!)

He also made it clear if ever I get stuck with any aspect of the conversion, I can call him for advice.

Absolutely everything I need, for a brand new SGI conversion on a V6 for less than £500, with a warranty, for this level of support, you just can't beat it.

My kit should arrive on Wednesday  :D  ;D  :y

It's nice to get good service - it doesn't happen very often.

I have bookmarked his ad for when I am ready to make a purchase.

I'd consider it sooner rather than later.

LPG kits are likely to rise in price, IMO

i agree with everythibg that James has commented on, Jeremy is a bang on sort of guy who is only too happy to chat over issues/queries.

we have had a small hiccup with my tank fitting kit but he has come good with that, i would recommend him every day of the week

Now you mention it.... I have seen your kits on ebay. Interesting that you've found your way over here!

400 is very reasonable for the front end kit. Have you got any screenshots of the software?

Also - can you supply spare wheel tanks?

How much for a complete kit, incl donut tank, to convert my V6 then?  ::)

i found this forum after long searching for polyflex pipes sellers :)
i can supply toroidial and cylinder tanks as well, will give prices for toroids:
570-630mm diameter 180-250mm height internal or external with tomasseto multivalve and filler (filler europenian type with UK adaptor also available new compact filler you could see on ebay) £160.
630x270 £180
720x270 £250 these delivering could take longer as manufacturer producing limited quantity. I'm not keeping huge stock of lpg tanks (takes lots of resources) so some delivering could be quite quick 2-3 days some takes longer up to 1-3 weeks.

Problem is, there's bu66er all room under the plenum on a V6 for the piggy back connectors. It can be done, but it's not nice. I will splice my wiring into the vehicle injector loom next time the plenum comes off. It's only the short piece of loom from the injectors to the multiway plug behind the nearside cylinder head that you have to mess with, after all.

On a 4 pot, the injector plugs are built into the cable tray, so it doesn't make any sense to use piggy back connectors there either IMHO.
