Back

Did just under 1,000 miles in 4 days, run down was busy, got stuck in traffic for 2 hours.
Thanks must go to Kevin Wood for his recommendation of a tent, we arrived in pitch black, nackered, never put up the tent before, was up in 50 mins.
Snowboarding was great, pictures to follow tommorow, but its 4 times the length of the Milton Keynes run, so could really get some fast sweeping turns in. Has a pub half way down!

Huge place, propper chair lift, so could stay in there all day without getting leg burn from the poma lift.
Car ran fine in Europe, fully loaded, 3 adults, full of snowboarding gear, campaing gear, tent, gas stove, lights, boot was jam packed, as was the spare seat.
I was really expecting it to struggle, having taken a 3.0 Senator around Europe last time, i thought the 2.2 with the weight would really have trouble, but it pulled suprisingly well, i treated it to a tank of the good stuff (BP Ultimate) sat at 80 all day long, easily went up to 100 on some fast sections.
Got a lucky break, about 10 miles from home, i think a spark plug has let go. Stopped at some lights after 2 hours of 90mph crusin, and the idle was REALLY rough, pulling away was rough too and really down on power. So will post up about that in Gen Help.
But other than that, good trip, and car did me well.
