Please please please can I stay here!!!


Been a bit of a forum warrior over the years as you can guess I signed up to another couple of forums for the new car...

Jesus...


The Tech help section on one is all "refere to dealer"

The genreal chat on another is quotes form the "Times" & "Independant"

The for sale sections make me want to shite a brick...

And not one has what seems to be a sense of humore yet...


(Must be honest found one forum, but there is alot of members and not much posting, but seem a nice bunch)


So, I'm stoping here, I have a Omega sports gril, a key & Sat nav under my desk, so I can claim to be owning one in kit form  ;D

You Asre.      Has someone asked you you leave.

I would rather you stay whether you have sold your mig or not

Sadly the Migs wont last forever, may are getting broken  and therefore numbers are getting fewer, but I would like to think that all current and future  (even past) Miggy ownwers will stay as well all own or owned Omega's.

Let's face it Jon you can still offer help and advice to current owners needing help if you know the answer.

I have been on a couple of other good ones, but they were nothing to do with cars and none of them are still running, the interesting thing is that I gained some interesting mates whom I am still in weekly contact with.

This has ben the best forum for me so far. and of all the other car forums I have joined I dont even bother to look in any more.

I don't own an Omega (but i am looking for a 2.2 DTI estate) but I hang around because I like to think I have made a few friends over the years on here, although there are one or two miserable sods as well, ay Steve ;D

1 infamous admin once brought a rover  :-X
another infamous hairdresser came in an mx5
one female member even arrived in a megane when she had lent her omega to her husband to come up earlier.  ;D

Me bringing a bike count too??  I did have an Omega at the time though, its just it was broken so I couldn't drive it... Honest  ::)

I remeber it well Bob, I had been sat there for about an hour, tent pitched and all on my own like Billy Nomates, then I saw the green Omega estate arriving. We've sunk a few since then Bob :y

i will say this is a very friendly forum, there is another one i go on which i wont mention and the first thing is they took about 2 months to reply to my email just so i could log on to there site! and the next thing is it is so clicky! sort of if u dont have the rite type of car then they dont even answer and question! if they dont want people with certain cars on there they shouldnt let u join the club which it supports....
