must admit im in severe agony just below top of right shoulder above the breast, dont know if ive done this at golf or what, been like it a few days now but after golf today its shear hell, affecting my breathing and trying to stand up is just agony. what would be best to take?

ibuprofen

sounds like youve pulled the  intercostal muscle ,i think thats what its called , put a packet of frozen peas on it and take some ibuforen to help take the muscle swelling down

If it is muscular you need something that is anti inflammatory. Aspirin and Nurofen are good and much better than paracetomol for this.

If it really hurts like break:
1. Add codiene to the above.
2. See a Doc.

Keep it moving. Gooing backwards and forwards to the fridge for ice to put in your favourite whisky is ideal.

rub some ibuprofen gel into it i use voltron for my shoulder and knees when they play up,  :y
