I personally think that there is a case for not believing it at this stage; being generous and giving him the benefit of the doubt, I think he may be trying to filter time wasters.

Thank you for your response I do think it appears to be a beautiful example, but I would be unprepared to part with £9,000 on a used car without seeing it, nor having the ability to refuse upon arrival if it were not to meet the specifications.
 
I have driven Vx RWD cars of this nature for a long while now, and do seriously intend to move to a Monaro VXR, but it must be up to the same high standard as my current car.

Sounds like a bit of a con to me .........no one in their right mind would part with 9k without even seeing the car first, let alone trust that someone is going to ship it, after being paid. Sound it bit similar to the e-bay add some 13/14 months ago VXr for 12k, the bloke who won it did'nt buy it cos the car was in Greece, and the pics had been cloned from  and autotrader add, JayW may recall that one
