Might be more interesting to keep answers near to Mig prices as poss. given Migs are cheap say about a 3k limit? :)

logical..but dont we have right to have dreams ;D :y
We sure do Cem but that's another post (Dream car) Whereas what could we replace our Migs with on a similar budget is another issue...

God that's ugly! Besides, you're not a pimp, are you? :o

I've got to agree with Pete. I think they look fantastic, although I'd prefere a darher interior withthe privacy glass in the back ..... and if you're going for dream cars, why have a diseasal? I have the 6.1(?) V8  ;)  ;)  :y :y

When space is needed an Audi RS6 Avant would suffice.

For sunny days a Mazda MX-5 would suit me just fine. :-* :-* :-* :-* :-

If money no object, i'd have to look further as i don't know, but TVR would be there somewhere.
On a Mig budget i'd like a big Audi, 540 or 8 series 2dr Beemer or a 3 series M (if too pricey a 328 would do), 2dr Mk3 Cortina GXL or GT, T5 Volvo, maybe a Merc.

Stuff all that, Mk1 Golf GTi. I'll stop at the end of the twisties & have a cuppa while you lot catch up, pure grin factor!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8-)

Actually BMW 540 and 528 with sport packages are good cheapo alternatives (initally) ..540 is really thirsty and expensive in maintenance though (8 liters of oil, 8 sparks  ouch :o)  but 5 series a bit smaller than miggy in inside.. :-/

even E46 328 is not bad..

Saloons are lovely motors but the estate models just look wrong to me.

Normally I'd agree with you, there's not many cars that look better as an estate than they do as a saloon,  but IMHO 300C  estate looks better ..... it'd look even better if someone had put a bit more thought into where to stick the totally uneccessary rear fogs. Dodge Magnum doesn't have 'em.

already replaced a tractor mig with a tractor mig. and look to replace with same again. only rear wheel drives that come to mind are mercs and bmws. will stay older than 2001 due to road tax so will be staying with migs for a long time yet. :y
