Good!  Looks like GB is trying to follow/associate with Obama.  Might work out better for us.  ::) :)

I SO BLOODY HOPE NOT

People have short memories. Tony B. Liar pretty much confirmed that he had lied to send the country to war yet smarmed himself back into office again. OK, there was no opposition but he was unelectable after that, IMHO. I was clearly in a minority.

The governments' advice for people who found themselves looking at a 455 quid road tax bill to "just buy a newer, less polluting car" looks pretty rich in today's climate. :o

Let's hope it's buried for good, and "New Labour" with it.

Anyone just overpaid for a pre 2001 Miggy on the grounds that it will be cheaper to tax in the long run. :-* :-* :-* :-*

Acouple of months ago  I would have said they have no chance, but they have slashed the tories lead in the polls because people apperantly are believing the spin that Gormless is in the middle of restoring the world economy :o :o :o
A week can be a long time in politics and many of the electorate are very fickle and politically ignorant. :( :(

Well, without sounding like a thicko I am over the moon at this news.

We bought our 2001 MV6 a couple of months ago, dirt cheap because of the planned tax rises, so we are laughing now (at least for another 12 months.....!!)

I think its great news, if its true.
