I've noticed that too. IT seems to have stopped doing that for me. Maybe it is a loss of the records of those threads that you were previously "subscribed" to; maybe a more general issue.

I've just been through my profile settings and the choice for "Notify me of new PM by e-mail was set back to "No". I suspect that this setting was set back to a default of "No" during the upgrade.

I also noticed that the option in the profile for recieving notifications by e-mail seems to have gone.

I suspect that this has been replaced by the new "Notifications" functionlity, but I'm not sure "how" or even "if" that bit works properly just yet. I know that I haven't managed to work it out yet.

I'm going to test the process by ticking the "Check this if you wish to be notified of replies to this topic" box and then will ask you to post back to see what happens. :y

I have just cleared out my new "notiications" list which appeared after the recent upgrade.

Nothing new has appeared as a result of your post above.

My "Check this if you wish to be notified of replies to this topic." has cleared too :-/

Would you post again please as another test?

Thanks

Followign the tests above I get notifications in the new "Notifications" page, but nothing in my e-mail.

I have noticed that there isn't a place to opt into having e-mail notifications on posts in your User CP profile any more.

In profile, under Options Tab, Board Notifications there is a Yes/No dropdown about recieving email.

Works for me  :-/ (but I'm admin  :-/)

Found it!

Thanks :y

It must have been reset to "no" as part of the upgrade as was the e-mail on new PM option.

There was a bug in Admin's control panel that caused certain things to disable, so although the settings were migrated, Admin's doing certain things in their admin panel caused some settings (pm notification and topic notification) to reset, which then changes everyones settings.  That was fixed a few days ago...
