you start off doing one job, then realise something else needs doing, etc and before you know, you have rebuilt the car (well almost !).

I am due to go over to NI for several months, so thought I would change the oil and filter before I go. This went fine, however when undoing the sump plug, I noticed a drip of oil from the bottom of the engine, which I traced back up to the cam cover gasket leaking. 3 of the plugs had oil cooling !. So I went and got the kit to do that, and then of course the pipes to the cover were filthy so I had to clean the breather.  So a quick job took several hours.  

Oh yes and the exhaust is going to need replacing soon as well

Mind you its worth it, the car is running better, I used to get the engine light on when hot, that's stopped.
