Sorry, been offline a couple of days - touched that anyone noticed.

Had i bit of that sickness bug going around last week, which developed into man-flu. Just got a bad cold now :(

My HP laptop had to go to Poland middle of last week for repair, and my old Tosh (the one thats been dropped, kicked, fallen in bath, etc) didn't want to play.  My desktop smokes after about 10mins, so that leaves me using her laptop whenever she isn't.  So any 'PC' time was limited.

However, it is this particular braindead, incompitent, useless, pointless, ugly, idiotish prick:

that has kept me away - I'd love to write the pathetic moron a bill for the work he has caused me in the last 10 days, and the work it will cause me next year when VAT reverts (or increases beyond) 17.5%.  And for what? Will £1 off a £50 item make a blind bit of difference to spending habits? No, of course it won't, which is why most manufacturers/suppliers/wholesalers are not adjusting SRP/RRP/CRP.  Only a tiny minority are, so I can't even blat the databases with a 2.1% pricedrop.

Still, good to be back for a few mins :)

I had....and did assume you were busy with your brothers (i think) till software....making changes to the vat change.

I agree with you tho.....total waste of time and effort changing the vat to 15%.
Means im gonna rush out and buy a £400 new tv coz its a tenner cheaper now......yer right!!! makes no difference in my eyes  >:(

Fuel ok reduced by 2.5% vat but fuel duty increased......so pointless  >:(

PITA as well - we ended up getting 15% in VAt2 and getting all customers to change their customers from Vat to Vat2
