My change over is controlled by a pressure switch, so it usually starts on Gas when warm anyhow, takes about 1/2 - 3/4 mile to change from petrol to gas when cold.

AFAIK the BRC system has no facility to force a start on Gas, but I'm willing to be told otherwise !!

:)

Thats a real shame. I've got a BRC system and I'm fed up of filling with Petrol. Seem to have to put £20 of Petrol in every other time I fill up with gas. Going to start putting a full tank in. My system doesn't switch to Gas until I've driven at least a mile even when warm  :(

down to 88.9 or 89.9 in Maldon / Danbury, Essex.  went from Danbury to Sandon, back Heybridge then on to Bocking and back to Heybridge fully loaded with all seats down with 300 + books, weekend shopping, two mobile phones (no Sat Nav (hint hint to the wife for Christmas ;D, ) the wife - all this on a ten quids worth of petrol and still some left in the tank  :o - and to think i was talking about getting rid of Omega - maybe not time for a rethink  :-?

What is the actual capacity of the Omega fuel tank?  I never seem to be able to get much more that 60 litres in.

Is it actually empty 50 miles after the fuel light comes on? Or, like the Jaguar on Top Gear the other week, is there still a bucketful of fuel in the tank?

Oh, and petrol's down to 88.9ppl in the Ipswich area. :) :)

I have managed 62.5 litres before now, but that has been to the top of the filler neck! :D :D ;)
