Terry Wogan.
« on: 05 December 2008, 19:20:00 »

Terry Wogan is to give up hosting the Eurovision song contest after 35 years. :-/ :-/

In future the contest will be hosted by Graham Norton. :'( :'( :'(

So something that hardly anybody watched in the first place .....is now to be taken over by by the world's  most annoying celebrity shirt lifter and arse bandit .

Did'nt watch it before......certainly will not watch it now. >:( >:(

Does anybody actually watch and enjoy this Euro shite?. :y :y

it was the only time i found wogan funny. I swear he was on the sherry when presenting that...

trouble is, the way EuroTrash has gone, the outrageous (or x factor winners) will always win.

Terry was the best thing about eurocrap, completely dry sense of humour and ripping the piss out of the farce of the whole thing.

his radio 2 show is good as well but he's no Ken Bruce ;D

Agree that Wogan was about the only thing is Eurowhatsit that was worth watching it for (although the Finns Lordi came a close second) and it was obvious from his comments last time that he wasn't going to continue.
Only problem now is that another Saturday night I could hide up in my office playing games on the PC has gone

Used to listen to R2 all day in truck some time ago..but...
Sarah Kennedy. What a false plummy condescending annoyance. The ultimate case of thrush (Irritating c***) How is she allowed to inflict herself on the airways? Looks like a rocky horror waxwork.
Wogan. Gotta love him really, many of us grew up with him, he's an institution, so good on the Togmiester.
Ken Bruce. Not good or bad, in fact completely indifferent. Don't love or hate him but he does nothing except rattle on & play bland music.
Jeremy Vine. Fair go Jimmy young was a hard act to follow. Vine is educated, in his correspondent posts has seen things that would make most of us s*** ourselves & i enjoy some of the topics he covers, shame he's turned the rest of it into his own politics show the man's obsessed with politics & war.
Steve Wright. Hilarious years ago on radio 1 in the afternoon. Now, just plays girlie disco 70's/80/s pap & reads out emails saying love the show.
Chris Evans/Johnny Walker. JW was a legend deserving of the drivetime slot. Evans just gets way too over excited over nothing & is a cockend, always has been.
 7pm slot can't remember.
8pm slot Radcliffe & Maconie. Funny & decent music. Two great minds. 8-)
