I am overjoyed at being mobile again............

43 days without the Omega or transport (other than pushbikes)! One big disadvantage of living miles from anywhere.

The recently fixed auto gearbox gave up suddenly on the 29th Oct. Rather than try and repair it I went down the route of getting a good S/H unit.

Many thanks to Matchless, The Boy and Omegatoy for getting it here and to Omegatoy for help in fitting it today. OOF at its very best!

Just been for a ten mile drive. Oh joy, it changes up and down freely and has a lot more go. Can't wait to go for a longer run tomorrow- might even go and have a look at the snow 2750 metres up the Sierra Nevada mountains (above the ski slopes)!

i did 6 months without a car, cost a frigging fortune getting kids back and forward at weekens, cabs everywhere, nothing but a lot of hassle, public trans is full of rsloes as well

 :y I shall of course expect regular running reports!!!
and just wondered if that was an OOF delivery chain record? around 1700 miles i reckon!!! ::)
And we came to the conclusion it was TheBoy who gave me manflu!!!! ;D cos he had t when i picked up the box!!!!

Varche how is the skiing/snowboarding in Sierra Nevada, any good in Feb? We just managed to get some cheap flights to Slovakia, like to do something different every year
