Been finishing off the loft conversion, whilst using some expanding foam to fill the gap under the staircase to the floor cavity, I had a bit of an accident with the foam, all over my bl00dy hands and arms :'( :'(
I tried to get it off but, no luck, it's now gone off, solid :-/  I've been picking it off and peeling it all day, god I'm sore ::)  Anyway, sitting at the moment using PU remover cream with surgical gloves on..  Just like a pervert on acid ;D ;D ;D

Has anyone ever had trouble with this stuff before :-?  There is only one way to get this off when cured, according to the net....  peel it off :-[

This is very dangerous stuff, be aware..

Lifted a drunk housebreaker a number of years ago who foamed the alarm box of a village post office.  My superb detective skills deduced that, somehow, he was not supposed to have dry foam all over his coupon and hair/hands at 4 in the morning on a country road....

Turns out that he slipped off the narrow wall and ran his face down the harled wall then the tiles roof, all lubricated by copious amounts of foam issuing from the can clutched in his hands as he 'dinnae wa'ant tae leave it fir yoose basids tae get ma prints aff fae'....

Apparantly he bore the facial scars for many a month as the foam was embedded into the cuts and grazes..

Laugh?  Did we?  guess.....   :-X

It's mighty powerful stuff too it can be used to provide under deck boyancy in boats however if you don't drill pressure relief holes in the deck and get the mixture and quantity just right it can literally burst the deck off a boat as a friend found out to his horror  :o :o :o

It took 4 weeks of picking to get it off my hands. The stuff I used was green, I looked like a leper and, if I sat in one place for more than a few minutes, I'd leave a little pile of flakes on the floor. ;D

It certainly bodged up the neck of the wasps nest I squirted it into. :y ;D

Afterthought: and part-insulated my cavity wall ;D

Nail varnish remover will get it off.

Either that or a days sailing in the river Blackwater

The only ways i've ever managed to get it off.

good grief.... I use that stuff often enough and I've never covered myself in it..... just a thought though... who would use something like that whilst wearing a £60 pair of jeans?? honestly I ask you :D

Nasty stuff that though. Contains formaldahyde which can cause nervous system damage even through the skin (or so my dad says) If you can't get it off quick pop in to yer GP.
