Evening guys, in the process of instaling a secondhand OMLV Dream XXI system on my 3.0 mv6 and have few queeries youi may be able to answer for me.

1: where is the best place to take (and return) a water source from?

2: ive got hold of the OMLV sortware from the net, only gives options for 3 & 4 cylinder engine configerations though, anybody have a different version or advice on this issue.

The best policy IME is to break the connection from the coolant bridge (behind the inlet manifold) to the Heater Bypass Valve (behind the driver's side cylinder head). Feed the vapouriser from the coolant bridge and plumb the return hose into the HBV.

Are you sure the ECU is capable of supporting a 6 cylinder engine? Not that familiar with this system but they are sometimes available with 4, 6 or 8 injector driver channels.

yep, the system is for 5-8 cylinder vehicles, came of a working 2.5 v6. Just aware that it will need some adjustment when its finished and would like to do it myself as mcuh as possible.

I did exactly the same as Kevin... I've had no problems at all with the coolant flow or airlocks.

As for the software... Have you tried contacting an OMVL supplier? Another good source for all things LPG is http://www.lpgforum.co.uk

The early XXI N versions needed a key, however there are several later/ "modified" versions of the software around on the Net that should work easily enough. The cable is nothing special, just a simple level converter.
