Stepson suffering.....
« on: 01 January 2009, 23:33:36 »

Poor bairn, been suffering today ;D ;D ;D

He wanted to stay at a friends last night, we suggested he had a friend stay over here but no, he wanted to go out, he is 16 and a half, a good lad, so hard to say no. ::)

Gave him the lecture bit before he went. :D

10 to nine this morning we had to let him in, he went straight to bed, (with a bucket)  ::) about 2 ish he got up and took the dog out, came back and went back to bed. Cooked him a Dinner at tea time, not hungry, we tried to encourage him as he needed some food inside him. About 10pm he surfaced to take the dog out again, he has half an eyebrow and a bald patch on the back of his head, he was got as he slept. ;D ;D ;D
Have to smile, best if swmbo does not get too many details. :D :D :D

Best thing to do Mike, in the interests of uniformity, is to get some of her immac or whatever its called nowadays and do his other eyebrow...  That way it takes longer for them to realise that they have been tonsorially challenged by their 'friends' whilst catching a few ZZZZ's whilst on the hit and miss....   :-X   ;D

On the big learning curve now, but they have to learn.  Bless him.

It wont hurt Mike, maybe get it out of his system early on.

I went through a phase of drinking a bottle a night after work trying to chill out when I was younger, found it made no difference.

Dont drink much at all now, in fact I bought 20 cans of Foster in for the christmas/new year holiday and havent opened a single can.

Dont get me wrong, I have not problem, as you say we hope that he may learn from the experience, I may wind him up a little but not telling off, he has done nothing wrong, just growing up and it is not me with the bald patch. ;D ;D ;D

He likes his hair short so suggested he got it cut tomorrow or look forward to the jibes when he goes back to college on Monday... ;D ;D ;D

As you said it's part of growing up. When i was young & had drinking & other stuff sessions you must never be the first to "Green out" If he's enjoying himself this behaviour will continue til the early 20's, even the girls were shown no mercy, they woke up covered in marker pen, ketchup, shaving foam etc. They were quite happy when the boot was on the other foot!!!!!!
