Personalised Plates
« on: 03 January 2009, 00:09:57 »

Are they really worth it??

Given what I have planned, I'm somewhat tempted to look into them just for the uniqueness, but not 100% sure...

I know if my Elite was on a V-plate, I'd get the "V6 OOF" mark, but being on an S, its a bit of an impossibility  ::)

Just wondering what people think??

OOF plates are cheap as chips & i considered one for the Beastie (also S. Reg) but decided that other than at a meeting it would mean nothing & i'd get sick of explaining it to folk day to day. Never understood initials either, ie mine would be GJM but why bother? No one else knows what it means unless your christian name only has 3 letters. Keep looking & you'll dig up something that works & cheap.

   I did!!!!!! [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif] :P :P :P

wife got me R30 *** (my initials) for my 30th birthday, doesn't look that special but stands out (probably coz the plate's 10 years newer than the car ;D)

MO 56 STE was £799. Last time I looked gone up to £1999. Should've got it while it was cheaper. :(

got a private plate on the Jag The Jeep and the clit Sport...

To be honest i blagged the Jeep & Jags from cars i was scrapping and ( after much complication) tranasferred them over. Neither plate has any relevance....

Wifes on the other hand was bought specifically for her from DVLA, and it causes confusion as she kind of has a 3 letter name....and she wanted it as "V 6 xxx "

Looked good on the Omega she had then but on a clitSport it worries and confuses folk  ;D
