Motorbike test results....
« on: 07 January 2009, 20:32:22 »

Its not good unfortunately........ i came off  :-[

It was on the emergency stop at about 30mph, which i was really annoyed about because i did every single one, and i mean every single one perfect in training. Every time the instructor said excellent and i was confident about them.

However in my test i just seamed to grab it way too hard, and over i went, before i knew it i was sliding sideways down the road and the bike pinned my right leg.

I could not lift it off and i was lying in the road, the examiner came over and lifted it off me.

Good news is i am OK, gear did me well. No injury's.

Little sore and a embarrassed and very pi$$ed off.   - Trashed the bike a bit, but nothing major, but it kept on going afterwards.

Having a little break from it for now, i am going snowboarding in the alps in 2 weeks, but plan to go back for more training and another re-test.

I do not like being defeated.

Yup... can do those, turn, very very hard and dig in.

It wasn't a good time to do it but now you have done a slide you have gained valuable knowledge.....at 30MPH the bit that hurts the most is your pride.
In my time on 2 wheels I have managed it at most speeds from 2MPH (REALLY embarrassing) up to 80. Still here to bore people by talking about it as the thing that does the damage is the sudden stops. Next time on the test you will be much more relaxed and will pass with ease.
