Do you like my Sat Nav Mount?
« on: 04 January 2007, 11:51:00 »

I stuck a small thin piece of clear plastic under the dash, and using the windscreen bracket, fixted the Sat Nav to it.

Looks good Auto Addict but can you still read your MID ok :y

Looks as though the MID is blocked although if you dont look at the MID it shouldn't be a problem.

You can get them to spin, on gravel but not on tarmac.

Not bad! I'd been thinking about mounting mine thereabouts, but had been thinking of buying one of those mounting brackets that slot onto the air vents. This looks slightly less costly!

Solves the problem of sun glare on the Sat Nav screen also.

I quite like my sat nav mount, it fits perfectly into the hole in the dash where the crappy VX radio used to live ;D

Yes, you can read the MID from the drivers seat, took the picture leaning back between the seats.
