Tony Hart dies .....
« on: 18 January 2009, 16:45:34 »

Remember this guy ??  As I recall far superior to such as "Mister Maker" you get these days ..... but still responsible for many parents being pestered for old cereal boxes and washing up bottles ... Happy Days.

i heard about this on local Radio, was very saddened by it.

He was a great guy who brought art and design to life, i use to watch Take Art and always hoped that one day i could produce something worthy of his gallery.

Morph was cool as well

As did many i grew up with vision on as a littl'un. Much loved man & a sad loss. Did'nt he invent "Morph"?
Reminds me of "Animal Magic" with Johnny Morris voicing the zoo animals. Going back a bit now! :(

When they told Morph of his death he was speechless........sorry, I had to get that one in.

Sad to see Tony go though. As with many on here, I grew up watching him on the telly. He'll be sadly missed.
