Cheers lads  :yNow that I've got a 1000 posts can you:

1. Fix my car http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1168373780 and

2. Fix my avatar - it looks odd.

How did you re-size it & what format is it saved as?

How the hell would I know - I'm clueless?  I tried resizing it to Avatar but the quality didn't improve.  Basically I took it with a 3meg Canon camera and uploaded it to Photobucket.  Saved as a jpg 800 x 600 (83kb) with all this blurb underneath

Camera make: Canon
Camera model: Canon PowerShot A520
Date/Time: 2006:11:26 12:06:15
Resolution: 800 x 600
Flash used: No (auto)
Focal length: 5.8mm (35mm equivalent: 37mm)
CCD width: 5.69mm
Exposure time: 0.0050 s (1/200)
Aperture: f/4.0
Whitebalance: Auto
Metering Mode: matrix

It's all greek to me  :-?
Its better to manual change the size for your avatar.  This saves everyone from having to download a large photo every time they view your post, and also you have control of the downsampling, rather than leaving it to the local client...
