We (and Mark DTM, we tent share) normally take the kids to one of the meets, but tend not to at Newent, both kids are 2ish and 5ish.

Tent sharing maybe a good idea this year if everyone who has put their name down turns up....

I'm not sharing a tent with anyone   .... I'll be in the "tin palace" and if anyone needs use of kettle/oven/microwave/soldering iron etc etc ... for the relevant fee (as ordained by Mr John Smith  http://www.johnsmiths.co.uk/sitemap.htm)  I'm sure something can be arranged .....

Yes... 35 pitches in total and she told me when I called that we're welcome to have more than the current 20, the others will just be seperated by the driveway! Sounds like a really nice place. We're looking forward to it as long as SWMBO can sort out the clash in commitments she forgot about!

i will be taking my 7 year old daughter, she has come along every year and loves every minute of it.

Newent is one of the few campsites i have been to that is pretty children friendly

a few others take children as well

Not sure about that...
I already know about the Adult Area but people get are getting confused. I have already been asked if children can go to this site, as they have seen Adult Site somewhere.... when I have put in the original post that its a Family Site.
Last year was rather confusing with people phoning and trying to book themselves in when I was supposed to be taking the bookings for the weekend. So when I turned up with 20 odd cheques, expecting no-one to have paid as I was going to collect the money when everyone had there tents/caravans set up. So when I went into see the owners mum some money had been taken off some people not off others and became confusing..
