Don't know if you missed this on a thread I started a week or so back, but it looks like the sort of thing that might interest you. (It certainly interests me, but I haven't the readies at the moment!):

I'm glad you found that one - I was just off to find the link. 3.2 Auto MV6 in the best colour with LPG.  :y

I still can't believe they didn't release the 3.2 with a manual box.... VX really have went down the bog with their big cars, first dropping the plans for a V8 Omega and then this nonsense >:(

To think this is the same company that made what was, at the time, the fastest production saloon car money could buy (in the Lotus Carlton). Ho hum... I guess BMW are happy with all the extra sales of the 540i/6 etc (admittedly it is a cracking car, I had one, but choice is good).

Broocie - why not simply confiscate ( in the line of duty) Big Rods 3.2  ;D

Broocie,

I defy you to confiscate it, ('cos I reckon I'm bigger than you!!  ;)  ;D The 'Big' ain't for nothing you know!!). But I'm happy for you to try mine out if you want!!

BTW, it ain't for sale just yet and besides, Bob Dent's got first dibs on it!!

You have my number. You're more than welcome to give it a hiding. I doubt you'd be disappointed.

Normal terms and conditions apply. If you break it or bend it, you buy it!!  ;)

Hi B

Estates are pretty hard to find too.....i spent 2 months looking for mine.....

I musta been lucky then - mine only took a few days of looking, mind you I did have to make a 400 mile round trip to collect it.

I found my MV6 quite quickly, (But then I was looking for a 2.6!!!), but it meant a 900 mile round trip to Berkshire and back. SWMBO's Elite took ages to find, but was only 20 miles away and a damned sight cheaper!!

I have kinda the same problem Broocie. I want a later/better model but the thing that puts me off is what I would get for my old one. Its in really good nick, had all the necessary works/servicing done and runs beautifully.
Its a 2.5 CDX on a 'W' and I love it, but, other people see it as one of them 'omegas' and they just dont sell. So, even though I am sorely tempted by a newer model, I will not 'give mine away'.

Thats looks a pretty good buy to me and a decent price considering its already converted to lpg  :y

Now if that was an estate.......i could be tempted to get rid of my 2.2  ;)
