Been doing day runs all week. Tomorrow i've got a 40ft container of BBQ charcoal for Swindon. Given the allowed daily driving hours i'm pushing getting there & back, then told the empty container has to off load @ Aldridge, (top of Walsall) got no chance of getting home on a friday.
  Not just that but:- my truck failed it's test on one rear brake today so i'm in the yard motor (rattly old Scania) dragged my bedding & telly out of my own cab. >:(
  Not just that but as i was about to hop in the Beastie & go home i was asked to drop my skelly & box i'd just loaded, park the unit up & be @ Swindon for 11am instead of midday as "the office" had to swap the 11 & midday jobs over.
    End result:- I have to be in @ 5am instead of 6, have to couple up before coffee time & sleep in the yard Scania when used to the comfort of my Volvo Globetrotter CD.spec :(

Thats a tad bad ... and I can't offer you a beer and a bed in swidnod area as the outlaws are here .. and I have to take them out for dinner tomorrow ..... apparently ... :(

So can volvo FH's :( :( :( Glad i dont do nights out anymore :y had to many mornings waking up with ice and stuff on inside of cab,hated having night heater on I  used to wake up with monster headaches where the heat dried me sinus's out

I only used to do Poland and at night you need the night heaters on! Waking up with the dash telling you it's -23c outside!!

When you get your volvo back? bet you didnt enjoy driving the old back buster,me i hate them  give a DAF or a Volvo anyday :) :) :)
