Has anyone ever fitted a Cabriolet Roof?
« on: 23 February 2009, 18:34:50 »

I will be needing a new roof on Mrs. Loo-knee's Escort Cab.

Just wondered if it is a huge job and what is entailed in fitting one as I could save myself quite a few quid doing it myself.... :y

Does that matter then? just thought with it being an electric roof it would have just had rams powering it up...

Would be better than the original fit........I wouldn't fit a new one as it will be to heavy for the rust ridden pile of shite to take

take a look at that
looking at it you can just change the vinyl and not the whole mechanism

I used to have an escort cab and yes you can just change the vinyl, but it is far far easyer and quicker to change the whole lot.
