Big thank you
« on: 03 March 2009, 10:07:24 »

To Mr W M Morrison for letting me and Loo Knee use your car park in Dagenham yesterday. Me and Loo-Knee drove down to Dagenham to pick up our latest Omega which was advertised as a head gasket failure. We went equiped with an oil cooler kit, flush, tools, gallons of water (although we didn't need it because of the facilities ::)) and changed to cooler on the car park and drove the car home. It was a long day but well worth it because the car is loverly, anyone want an MX5 ;D

Sounds like a great plan, very well executed!  :y

No doubt it will have been a worthwhile exercise by the time the car has moved on and a few notes have changed hands  :P

Excellent, you can enjoy the best of both worlds then - they are a great car the MX5, especially around a track.

Ive not had it on the track yet but would suspect they would be good around the twisty bits but a bit slow on the straights, but a good laugh anyway ;)

With double the power and decent brakes then yes.....the standard setup is not up to track use (few cars are!)

I have only had experience with http://www.Ma5daRacing.com where we supply all (nearly) of the roll cages and are hoping to have a car competing later this year. They are lacking a little bit in the legs, but when all cars are the same spec it doesn't matter so much I guess.

You'd better specify how and where the payment is to be delivered before Elite Pete does. :-X
