Road Tax Changes
« on: 08 March 2009, 14:27:00 »

Looking at getting myself an Omega facelift.
Interested in a 2002 2.6, but would it fall into the 'Very Expensive' tax category in the near future? Summat like £440 per year IIRC! :o :o :o

I understand that our glorious government (sic), have postponed the date as to the changeover to the new classes, but not sure when.

Not postponed...backed out of  :y Only cars after some date in 2006 when they originally announced the taxation changes will get really stung!! 2001-2006 is about £220 a year once in place

Reasonably - I don't think they are stupid, well they were clever enough to bring back Clarke

As scary a prospect as it may be, 'Cameron's lot' is probably the best bet only option left.

(Leaving aside Alex Salmonds lots lot north of the border)

exactly. some of the roads round here are a disgrace. even worse in greenford. one hole has been like it for a long time, must be about 2ft in diamater with the drain sunk down a good 4 inches.
