Bringing down the copper you are complaining against can be seen as intimidation.  I would request that he does not come.  If he is coming to apologise ask for it in writing.

well the police have been and gone now
we had a chat and they took a statement
he said sorry for his reaction at the side of the road
he even admitted to driving close seeing me as a young driver in a bug car i would be tempted to put my foot down and race off
i said no chance mate i had my kids in the car plus i'm not risking my liecence

he asked a bout my cameras and went on about 3 disc's being in the office that was watched for drug use but nothing was being done about it
untill now he told me he will personly look into it and get it sorted
he had a look round by where they was doing the drugs at the side of my house took some photo's and a statment for that

again said sorry for his reactions
ive taken this one as a one off
i even told him he was lucky i never smacked him one and he turned round and said that he was half expecting that and that was why he held tighter as for me not to turn round and hit him

a warning was given to the dog owner and no its just a waiting game on if he follows up the drugy stuff
but he has assured me it will be dealt with as he know's who it is and that they have been arrested before for driving under the influence of drugs so this will add to there records and more can be done against them

he has had my mobile number and has gave me his mobile number and told me any problems to ring him direct and he will do the besy he can

fairs fair ive dropped the charges i wanted against him on the condition he sorts the drug stuff out
it was witness by his manager that came to my house with him

Sounds like youve kept your cool nick and done the best you can.

Probably wise too take the action you have and appear too be the bigger man by not taking action when you could have....

And if it gets your problem sorted at the same time...result.

the thing i find amazing is they are only now going to deal with the druggies problem to save their arses [or so it seems] with regards to todays incident, oh well as long as you get a result out of it nick i guess thats a bonus

I think the problem is they got so much to do, so many problems, they can't deal with them all, they just got to do the best they can. It must be difficult driving the many hours they do without making a mistake. The physical bit was wrong, but he had the decency to admit it, which is good.

Definately, it sounds you had a bad day & I am glad its sorted. I always end up making mistakes when cops follow me closely but you were very wise and doing the right speed. It is not worth risking the license.

I would have probably ended up taking a side road and having a chat if I am followed.. Cannot image holding my nerve for too long.
