Hi just heard about this on my local radio.  What do you think about this.

Oh how true this is, and always has been...!!

Question is, what do they want the extra taxes for now...??

only 2pence per litre. Considering all thats gone on in the last year i'm suprised its not more to tbh. Fully expect this years budget to be fairly hefty.

Also how come when oil prices fall it takes weeks for the price at the pumps to go down ......yet........when the price rises,within a few hours the price at the pumps jumps!!! it when from about 82p a ltr to 88-89 with a week round here

The simple truth is this Government has no reserves to fight the good fight against the depression we are now in.

So, what is the only thing the Government can do when revenues from all taxes has dramatically declined?  Raise motoring taxes!!

Why not?  We are easy, soft targets, that need to use our cars who cannot easily avoid paying for the Governments mistakes!!

This morally and financially bankrupt Government will do anything to try and get themselves out of the diabolical mess they have got us all in by poor management of our economy and civil administration generally!!

If they had any backbone they would be slashing public spending,but they are still recruiting gov.employees at about the same rate as they have for the last decade,i.e. 1000 new jobs per week.

collaborative manager-core cities(a collection of 10 nhs) trusts,to lobby whitehall and councils on behalf of NHS trusts £53,400 pa

My organisation has been on a recruitment and promotion freeze for the last year .... however, last month there were 7 new posts (higher management) and about the same in promotions ... all in Head Office ... while we at the "coal face" are given increasing workloads, shorter target times and less staff.

How else to they stand a chance of winning the next election than by recruiting potential Labour voters and buttering them up to the tune of £53,400 pa? Election victory doesn't come cheap when you're as incompetent as these cretins.
