what gets me is that this was a claim for internet access to her second home (yeah right - the one her family lives in..) which is wholly and exclusively for use for government business.   So I am sure hubby and kids don't use the net do they... ::)

couldn't care less about 10 quid of films myself.

According to a BBC report, "Gordon Brown has said Home Secretary Jacqui Smith's use of Commons expenses for two adult films watched by her husband should be a "personal matter".

The prime minister said the matter should not "detract" from the "great job" Ms Smith was doing."

A personal matter, eh? What if you mistakenly declare something on your tax return? Would the government think that was a personal matter, too?

Hmm  >:( :(

There was more about her claims for expences on TV this morning.

.88p for a bath plug.

£500 for a kitchen sink

She claims her main residence is with her sister in london, a spare bedroom in her house.

Where as her home is in Worchesterire, so the expences are claimed on the second home.

Also it has come out her husband wasnt home alone watching the porno, cant remeber who the other guy was though.

Seems they were on a TV statment like a Virgin media bill, does that mean the government pick up the bill for the rest of the TV viewing then?
