Not backed a horse now for about 4 years, maybe 3.  Last bet and win was on the National, I had backed my horse and thought it was going to be 2nd but the leading horse dumped the rider and mine won.

Nice one Hedgehunter. :y :y

2005 Hedgehunter, Ruby Walsh, Willie Mullins IRE, Trevor Hemmings, 7/1  Got him at 10/1 ::) :y

My only Grand National win....................was in 1982 .............on a horse called Grittar...................if memory serves ...........I put £5 on and he won at about 10-1 or 14-1 .............something like that.

We spent it all in the pub that night.................easy come ....easy go. :y :y :y :y

Best Grand National horse for me was Ben Nevis as I won £25 on him in about 1980 which was a decent pick-up then! :y
