M4 this afternoon, bunch of 'bikes, 6 or 7  ... all biggish (well big back wheels anyway !!) weaving all over the place, I was in middle lane doing 60 overtaking a truck, they went past me in outside lane, got really close to a Shogun ahead of them, then pulled right across in front of me onto the hard shoulder and went down the inside of a coach before swinging back out to the outside lane.... I guess all done at about 90 mph... then they opened up and pulled away pretty quickly.

Would only have taken a moment for it all to have gone very wrong :(

Whats a 3.2 V6 doing in the middle lane at 60mph  ::)
Did you have a hat on as well  ;D :D :)

I drive a 38 tonne artic, and I know we all get annoyed at following them at 40 mph on single carriageways, but the stupidity I see from some bikers (not all i must say) is outstanding. If it all went wrong there is nothing I could do to stop in time.

38 tonnes versus 600kg bike, I am sure I would have nightmares for the rest of my life.

Also in an artic we often can't see them till it's point of no return (Blindspots are terrible on an artic)

When was the last time anyone saw an HGV doing 40mph even on a single carriageway  ::) ::) ::)

On Saturday I had to do nearly 80 mph on saturday on the A1 to pass a huge artic with a dumper on the back of it. So much for  56.

No hat .. I don't do IQ reducers or the flat cap variety ....  :)

but the 'van was behind me .. so cruise control set at 60 to avoid getting into trouble ..... far too easy to suddenly be doing 80 .. and with a 'van on the back that is just stupid !!!

I dont like riding in groups,it tends to end up like a game of chicken at times,no-one wants to be the slowest everyone wants to be the fastest etc;I used to go to the bike meet at Gt.Bentley on weds evenings about 9 years ago with some other bikers,but it got a bit too lairy,there were blokes on R1,s wheelying down the outside lane of the A12 overtaking everything in sight,in top gear at well over 100mph.
One weds. there were 5 killed in 4 seperate incidents on their way home,that was enough for me.

I hate that a 339!!!! got done for speeding at both ends by the same damn copper when i was driving a transporter, both times had 10 cars on and was doing 46 the first time downhill and 47 the second time !!!
explained to the cops that if i kept it around 45 the idiots in cars were usually happy to sit behind me but if i did 40 they were trying to pass anywhere they thought they had a chance, so i was actually saving him having to attend accidents!! not a chance he said I have to get me figures up !!! :(

Motorists particularly truckers are an easy target, wish I could book every copper who overtook me illegally, whilst speeding  :-X. the A5 between Milton Keynes and Towcester is a particular hotspot between 10 and 10.30. There is a super sausage cafe where they meet.

I am not joking or exaggerating either  :)

Try truckers on the road, we are out of sight, out of mind and have even more imaginative ways to ruin a fitters day, especially when the overtime it is at a low this month   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
