Favourite horror movies??

Is it just me or is Blair Witch one of the most over-rated under-scary movies of all time?? Thats another 2 hours of my life I`ll never get back. >:(
So guys, whats you`re scary top 3? Mine go - The Excorsist, The Evil Dead (1st one) and just for sheer suspense in my younger days The Thing (frightened the crap outta me the first time) :-[ :-[ : :-X

I stuck the Blair Witch Project out years ago ( I notice it was on this evening) ..... absolute garbage!!!!

remember the hammer house of horrors a long time ago. used to sit there and too frightened to go to bed after, then i would be laying in bed and all of a sudden there would be a noise and my dad would be standing there and flick the torch on under his chin. bstrd!!!  ;D ;D ;D

the old changeling film was the best scary film, but pales into insignificance compare to THE SIXTH SENSE" boy that film made me jump when the girl put her head into the kids tent. :y

The terrible thing about getting older is that less and less scares me! ::) ::)

In fact I find it impossible to find any so called horror film / TV programme that scares me at all, including all the old favourites! :'( :'(  Great shame but somehow I just "see through" them all. :'( :'(

Real life politics and world events scares me more!! :o :o :o :o :D ;)

my dad used to get up in the loft and take the bulb out the landing and when you went upstairs he would drop his head out of the hatch, always after watching a film with vincent price or peter cushing.  >:( >:( ;D ;D ;D
