It failed....
« on: 11 April 2009, 17:18:01 »

Just got back from the test after hearing that my handbrake needs adjusting, my emissions are for times the limit and one of my rear shocks is leaking. :'( :'(

Mind, only the handbrake worries me as I'll just clean up the shock before heading over next time and I think some stupidity on my part was responsible for the emissions.

Unlucky, least they shouldnt be too hard to fix.

Thing with the handbrakes is to use em, and drive with on for a bit now and again, keep em biting.

Right I've got the drivers side disc off (yes I am that quick :D :D )

It came off very easy so I assume that there's a bit of play between the shoes and disc, So could I adjust it here?

Now, when I pull the brake only one shoe moves but I only removed and cleaned the acuator about two weeks ago :-?

Yes :y :y

The tester said that the passenger side was fine and there was an imbalance of 75%.
