Just been to my place of work for the last time.

Just been on a nice run to the west end in the mig - to collect all my belongings.  Sad day for me :'(, worked with London Underground for nearly 7 years and made lots of good friends.

But new horizons beckon and looking forward to my new Job in Sunny IPSWICH.  So for all your Southerners out there be prepared for some Electricity cuts in the future as thats what I will be doing. :y

Thanks mate.  Unfortunately the Job was becoming to political for me, like you said though it's the colleagues/friends you make which actually makes the job. :y

How does that work then? If Ipswich supplies south of the thames,who supplies our area ? :-/

They supply all of east anglia. part of midlands and most of the south east including London.  All done via remote control.
Just depends on which control desk you are.  HTH

Think I know the place,driven past it, on the outskirts of Ipswich.used to be eastern electricity or something like that. :-/
