First adventure in the new caravan
« on: 14 April 2009, 07:41:36 »

Had a great time on our first adventure.

Mrs AA can't wait to go again, stayed at a great Caravan Club site in Malvern.

Excellent facilities, friendly people, weather superb, great pub at Hanley Swan close by.

Towing facts, averaged 22.1 mpg - better than I expected.

I`m delighted the weather was so unlike Easter weekend`s usual offering!.....The first of many `appy`olidays I hope! :y

How many driveways did you manage to bodge tarmac? ;D

22 mpg while dragging a van is excellent for a 4pot. hardly makes lpg worth it.

Political correctness doesn't allow us to call them Pikey's anymore :( they are now officially known as 'Caravan Utilising Nomadic Travelers' or use the acronim :y

Mobile Fish & Chippie visits the site every Saturday for 2 hours, excellent fish n' chips, I worked out he took close on £2K whilst he was there!
